Price changes in 2012

Hi, does anyone know the answers, or, if not, would Red please clarify a few questions regarding the new 2012 prices.

1. Will other items not listed in Jim's signifigant update thread increase in price as well? This includes media and hardware such as the clutch.

2. Can we make deposit to reserve the current prices on items not yet shipping such as the pro i/o module?

I think that number 2 is a good question. I would like to place a deposit on the pro i/o module at the current listed price.

So, how can I order it at the old or even the new price? How can I put a deposit down at the "old" price?

You can't... but my question is more related to the items that are listed in the store.

That is the point. You can't put a deposit down on the initial listed price. If it was possible, I would do so immediately. I am hoping that this will become possible.

Same situation with EPIC X. If I could place an order for an EPIC X at the 2011 price right now, I would, and cancel my Scarlet order.

But you can't order an EPIC X until all stage 3 and 3.5 orders are fulfilled (or contacted I guess). Given that it is already mid-December, I highly doubt that will happen before January.

So in other words, there's no way you can order an EPIC X at 2011 prices. I would be happy to do that and wait until stage 4 is activated...

Seems RED should allow folks to place an order on items they want in 2011 at 2011 prices regardless of RED's shipping schedules.

I posed the question as to whether stage 4 was expected to open before the end of the year on another thread, and got an affirmative:

That being said, things do change, yes. I'm in the same boat you are - Scarlet ordered, but will cancel and opt for Epic if stage 4 opens up. As Jan. 1st gets closer, I get more nervous, but I'll stay confident things are still on track.
