Hey guys,
We're editing our first feature in PremiereProCS6, and want to use Resolve to grade with.

I've searched and found a few older threads and it seems a little problematic compared to Avid or FCP.

Are there any new developments I should be aware of?

If not, what are people's workflows?

We want to submit to Sundance, so our goal is a QT file under 2GB.

MANY THANKS

I did a few tests with Premiere to Resolve (using an XML).

One thing I noticed is that merged clips have issues (some clips go offline in Resolve), although there is a work-around by sending the XML through Final Cut Pro first.

I have also tested sending the Premiere Pro XML through Final Cut Pro and then to Apple Color (some of the steps are the same for fixing the premiere xml issue with Resolve):

It has worked very well so far, and Color might be still be a viable option for grading R3D files in 4k (especially on slower GPUs).
