I have purchased the entire Adobe 5.5 suite and am absolutely new to it. I'm not even sure if I've written the name correctly. Any link to tutorials, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

Check the Adobe sub-forum in the Red Workflow forum.

Quite a ton of information there regarding all things Adobe (Premiere, After Effects, etc.).

This space reserved for stills of un-sleeving Premiere Pro.

Arnold, if you have any questions, I'm happy to help, I've been using the Adobe Suite for about 6 years now so feel free to ask away. I've been using it with the Scarlet Footage for the last three weeks.

Adobe has a bunch of resources on its site and (if you have a budget for it) there's always http://www.lynda.com/ for decent tuts.

Make sure you really learn After Effects. You can do almost anything in AE.

Arnold,

I concur with Luc. Www.lynda.com is by far the most affordable, and the most intuitive. It's broken down into levels & features...you can learn the entire suite or individual components. Its a monthly subscription and you can cancel anytime.

I've worked with Lynda Weimann & I stir all my colleagues to her site.

Best,
Marq

Yeah, lynda for sure is great adobe resources.

For starting out, and learning the interface, I like the books for Adobe. Titled Classroom in a Book (then for the specified program). They come with project files which you follow along with. I enjoy to book method, but some can do fine with following along a video. For learning the interface of the programs, I suggest the books. Amazon.com has them all at great prices.
