I am looking for advice from an experienced editor/colourist who edits and colours in Premier Pro.
I am editing a video shot on the RED Epic-W and I am editing on a fully spec'd out iMac Pro using a 96TB G-Raid tower with up to 2000/mbs speeds and thunderbolt 3.
Editing went smoothly but now that I am trying to colour the RAW clips, I can't see any changes live. I adjust the curves and nothing happens until I move the playhead to another clip on the timeline then back to the clip I am colouring.
I feel like there is a setting within Premier that I am over looking and causing this to be a very slow process.
I have tried both OpenCL and Software Only and still nothing.
I keep seeing people editing RED content on their macbook pro laptops using premier pro and I just don't get how with a 30k+ setup I am not able to do the same.
If you have any advice on what the best settings are within Premier Pro to maximize efficiency when editing and colouring, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you
Sam
