The Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.2) update is available. There are a lot of bug fixes in this update, as well as HiDPI functionality for Retina Display, some new supported GPUs, and Windows 8 certification.

See this page for details:

Thanks

Thanks for the update...that said, is this a good place to post...

Running MBPr 16GB - 750GB - 2.7i7 OSX 10.8.2 Just updated PP to 6.02 hoping it would solve Export hanging and / or increase Export speed, and instead it killed my RED footage. Reinstalled the RED Importer files into the PP bundle, and still no joy. RED media icons no longer show thumbnails and clips on timeline show yellow "pending" message. I deleted media cache files still no joy.

My brief experience on Win7 is that Premiere now runs all my cores at 100% and I can play a Scarlet R3D recorded at 4K Quad at the lowest compression at full speed for 1/2 resolution.

1/2 resolution of 4K on a 1920 x 1080 monitor looks pretty good.

AE seems to use about 90% of all the cores, and really whips thru a RAM Preview at the lower resolution.

This seems like a great improvement, especially for Premiere.

Is anyone using the GeForce GTX 680, does adobe it yet? i didn't see it on the list...

Yeah I know but not as an easy install. Last time you could download an update for RED color and Gamma but it was a complicated install process.
Now I wonder, if you just can download an update, press install and done with it?

So what's the status on that?

Best

You have to install the RED updates again actually.

Any update on, when the new update is coming out to fix all the bugs with 6.0.2? Would love the hidpi for my retina but can not deal with all the hiccups it was giving me.

I'd like to know that, too. ever since that update, stability for premiere and after effects became an issue. it's been a crash fest...

Why did Adobe change the editing paradigm in CS6? In CS5.5, I could simply switch between desired tool using hotkeys. After performing a ripple edit, I could immediately proceed to a roll function with just the stroke of a hotkey. Now I have click outside of the clip to clear the current function as well as use the hotkey to switch tools or right-click and then select from the contextual menu. You have taken something that worked, that was natural and intuitive. Something that allowed the editor to concentrate on performing the edit and made it more cumbersome. Is there a way in CS6 to revert back to the editing paradigm of CS5.5?

I am on a MBPr and after the update Premiere is running pretty smooth, but Encore is incredibly unstable. That plus when I render anything out the render has glitches in it and it causes my entire screen to go either black or pink. I am on the latest CUDA drivers and OS updates. I am honestly annoyed that ADOBE has been getting my money for such an unstable experience. I have never had so many problems with a piece of software. Ever. This is the same reason I switched from ADOBE back in 2005. It just wasn't reliable...

Did you reinstall the RED Epic plugin files? We have to manually do this each time Adobe updates.

I did, and I got it working again. Edited a short video a couple days ago without a hiccup.
I just started a new project though, and things are going downhill. I've imported about 150GB of footage in premiere, and it plays fine when i begin to edit, but after about 2min of scrubbing and editing, all the video screens go black. Everything plays fine, I just can't see anything in the source or project windows. Anybody else have this problem?
