  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Premiere Pro CC performance

Yes. That test is a perfect demonstration. Well done! Thank you!

I'm an businesses level Adobe CC subscriber, and the completely inept customer service rep I am talking to is excruciating. Even in the face of Charl 's evidence, as well as highly detailed descriptions of what I am experiencing he doesn't even seem to want to try and understand the problem we're experiencing in CC2017. Iv'e asked for ticket elevation to another tier and he agreed, so stay tuned, I will report back. In the mean time, I think others should open tickets, and if anyone has a real Adobe engineering contact, please put me in touch.

I just opened a ticket as the chat representative ended our conversation with this: "okay, there you go the application as for now is behaving well but the fie is talking time to read by the app as it has more metdata and CODEC files this is how it is going to work, unfortunately there is no work around for this"

I got advice on the Adobe Forum to remove the SLI bridge between the 2 cards as they have been known to give issues. This definitely worked and cut the thumbnail rendering time for the same folder to 33 seconds (from 1:01). It is still 2-3 times longer than other software but definitely helped in this case. Another suggestion that worked for others was to untick Intel h.264 decoding in the Media Preferences menu though this did not have any effect my side
