Premiere CC only accepts one R3D per Composition

After upgrading to CC from CS6 I've run in to the weirdest problem, after finishing a music video shoot, I created a project, imported all R3D's, sorted them up and started a new sequence by dragging one R3D from the Project to the "New Item" icon, it created a new sequence, when I tried to add the second R3D by dragging it onto the timeline it simply did not accept the file. If I drag it towards the audio, it shows up, but the video wont get added. If I add the same clip by dragging it to start a new sequence and then dragging it to the old sequence it works. But I can't drag it directly to the main timeline.

What do you guys think is wrong? This is really frustrating!

I've had a similar issue when dragging an audio file to the timeline...it just randomly won't let me drop it, and then it either randomly starts letting me drop it, or I restart the program and it's fine.

Super weird, it fixed itself when I randomly pressed that V1 should be on track 2. I could then move V1 back to whatever track I wanted and it all worked. Must be some silly bug.

Ya there are lots of weird drag and drop bugs now....

sometimes with files...sometimes with effects as well

I can confirm strange behaviour... with importing files (not only R3D) but in general. Drag and drop / importing / or through Media browser gives different results.
