Hi,
I'm doing a show where we shot most of the footage on my RED Dragon Scarlet, and we're editing in Premiere Pro 2015 (latest build). I've had REDs for many years.
I have one shot that we did not shoot ourselves- it is a RED Dragon Epic shot, from an aerial company that rocks (love those guys).
All the other shots- all the R3Ds I've ever played with- in Premiere you can right click on the file name in the Project panel, and you'll see 'Source Settings'. This lets me do basic rough color and exposure matches, which is pretty important for client approvals, and it makes me feel better about my storytelling.
Well, this ONE SHOT, from the Epic Dragon, grays out the 'Source Settings' menu. Every other shot (there's about 40) in the timeline- no problem, it's available.
Any ideas what I need to do to fix this?
YES, I can change it in RED Cine-X. But that's not a lot of help, in that it does not seem to be "moving over" with the file upon import/re-import. And I do not want to render the clip, I want to bring it into DaVinci and color it for real later on.
Thanks,
Patrick
