  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How do you change the preference on the redmag to read write from read only on a Mac. I'm trying to upgrade the firmware.

Boom, thank you Jeff! Also, after selecting Preferences to "Read/Write," then under the RedWatchdog, you need to select the drive and have it remounted to initiate the drive..

On Mac OSX 10.11.5 RED Watchdog is claiming to mount mags as Read Only, but I can still write to them. I can save RMDs via RedCine-X and move files onto them in the Finder. Some new El Capitan shiz screwing things up?
