Just received my new Scarlet in the mail yesterday. When I powered it up it automatically started updating the firmware. It's been updating for the past hour and still going so I'm just wondering how long this process takes?

Thanks,
Mike

Firmware updates are usually super quick (under 1 min) I'd reflash it, what firmware are you going from>>>>to?

It started upgrading by itself? Did you have media inserted with an upgrade package?

Did you have any peripherals installed (side-handle, rear modules, etc)?
