Have a quick shot I need to pick up past magic hour coming up this Friday, and ideally I would be able to supplement existing light with a soft source household fluorescent bulb or bulbs and power them with a 14.8 v-lock battery. Can anybody offer any quick suggestions and how we can achieve this shot?

You can get an inverter from home depot for about $40 that should handle it fine.

Hello Michael. So I would need to to find a way to pass the 12 volt power from the battery through the inverter? Some sort of an adapter I assume. Where would I find that?

The right inverter will be have clamps to attach to the battery - car battery would be great - and then just plug the lights in the 3 prong outlet.

EDIT: Oh, missed the v-mount part. You'll need to find cable/plug adaptors; millions of possible combinations depending on your set-up.

Hey Eric and Terry. We intend to shoot after sunset, when the existing light is very cool. I'll likely buy a marine battery to power the lights.
