IDX, Anton Bauer use to provide an outlet for auxillary power that are hard to find. I don't mean the ones you buy pre-made up from Anton B etc... in other words who is the supplier.
XLR, fisher, Lemo etc... are easy enough to come by - but not the Powertap connector. Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Thanx greg, I know B & H has them (Anton B) pre-made ($20) and Kit ($15).
The question is "who is the supplier", Who make them, where can we get them (cheaper)?

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone make a D-tap to cigarette lighter? I have a lens warmer that only takes ciggy plugs, but I'd like to use v-lock batteries I have, which also have a D-tap out.

Hey Tom, I'm a long time Anton/Bauer user so all my accessories are adapted to D-tap. I've found it easiest just to buy the D-tap connector and make your own cables so you get the lengths you want. Anton have both male and female D-taps. I'm a disaster with a soldering iron but even I've been able to make my own cables since you just need to make sure you get the polarity right. Any tech in your area should be able to cook the cables you need up in about 10 min.

I wasn't able to find the connector part numbers online but PM me if you need it and I'll go out to the garage (always have spares).

I did some research for my optimator cables and the best I came up with was AB directly for about $15/pc . IDX , Switchtronix, etc. were all more money...
