Power SmallHD DP4 from camera's EVF port?

Hello all,

I am wondering if there is any cable that I can buy that will power an external monitor such as the Small HD DP4 from the Scarlet camera's EVF port like the red touch does? I want to use an external monitor but I do not want to have to worry about powering it with external batteries. I know I may be dreaming here, but just curious if anyone knew of anything like that.

No go using the EVF port to power your monitor I'm afraid.

The connector looks like a LEMO, but according to the scarlet operation guide, the pinout is not published. However, if the connector really is a LEMO, I don't see any reason why one couldn't just measure the voltage between each of the pins and build a custom cable. Could be some work and in the worst case, a bit risky for the camera. Also, it could be that there is no power unless an EVF is connected using the digital pins. Just some thoughts.
