Power from Red One usb ports?

Is it possible and/or safe to power USB devices from the camera's USB ports? Thinking in particular of accessories like the Wicast, but also just handy items that use the bus power, like a mini USB keyboard light I use with my laptop sometimes. Reluctant to just plug and test in case the ports don't play by normal rules...?

I've used those usb keyboard lights as lens lights before. Somebody posted a picture of his iPhone charging off the usb jack in his Red a while back.

Cool - just so long as it matches normal USB specs its a handy source of 5v Just don't want to fry anything...

I use a keyboard light in the USB all the time. At christmas time I even had little christmas lights that were powered by the USB hanging on the camera.
