Power E-Sata Redmag Station via USB to 5V adapter

Has anyone tried powering their esata Redmag Station with one of these cables?

I'm thinking about this for field use where AC power isn't available to use esata.

I have never had a problem using the usb power cable.
I typically use that in conjunction with an esata->usb3.0 converter.

Which cable did you use? Seems like there are so many standards for the barrel type connectors. I measured it and it seems to be a "H" size barrel plug.

I use the USB to power power that came with the redmag reader.

Hi Todd, could you tell us what esata to usb 3.0 converter you use? I need to buy one to use it with my Redstation on a PC that only have USB 3.0 ports. Thanks!
