Hi Guys

I wanted to check if it is still necessary on the latest firmware build to power down the EPIC every time a Canon lens needs to be changed, or is it ok to "hot swap" lenses while the camera is running ?

thanks for the help.

Hi Mark

I've doen it a few times too with no problems, just wanted to get some more opinions on the topic, always been a nikon man and canon gear is still a bit unusual to me, there wouldn't really be the chance for any physical damage i guess to lens or camera hey ?

I'm very interested in the 'official word' from RED.

I'd hate to void my warranty or hurt the camera.

Maybe it won't damage it 99% of the time, but ... it's just not worth the risk if RED says NO.
