  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

POSTED: EPIC Firmware v1.6.44 (Release) and v1.7.9 (BETA)

Do you need to do a black shading on the sensor for this upgrade?
 
Anyone eles having issues with the camera not booting off RED Bricks or 3d party bricks? Using an ET/IDX battery plate instead of the RED Plate. AC Adapter works just fine.

My X will not boot from the Backpack Quickplate with 1.7.9a. It boots fine off the Battery Belt clip and AC adapter. My M boots fine off of all three. This is when using a Switronix XP-L95RED battery.

RED is looking into my issue.

remember 1.7.9 is Beta. Have you tried 1.6.44?

no one part is simple in the EPIC.. which is probably why nobody else is comes even close. As normal as the camera may seem to everyone know we still have some pretty smart engineers that don't believe it actually is possible :)

Play with 1.7.9, do jobs with stable version..

Playback is very soon. I am testing the Alpha now. Works great.
