I love the time of this post! Hahaha! Amazing..
Downloaded and installed!

Definitely check, but they say it's the "shipping version"

I have a question -this release says HDRx is not synched with audio...as in how far out? Is it acceptable when you use easy blend in RCX pro? We're using HDRx on virtually every shot of our movie, so I'm guessing this is not a good time to try the firmware upgrade.

Ive read that in order to upgrade epic firmware, you need to power with the camera A.C and not battery, but i didnt receive any camera a.c .Is it possible to use Red One MX Camera A.c on the epic?

We have just installed the v1.6.40 on our Epic M and shoot some takes, but somehow we can not view the files with the REDCINE-X Professional?!

NO,
Do Not use the R1 El Pac AC on the Epic. It does not provide sufficient power to the Epic.

Jason

Thanks Jason , will wait till I have the epic ac then upgrade.

I've had the freezing screen on the previous upgrade, and nasty flicker and strobing after using the magnify feature. I had to reboot a bunch of times on the last shoot. I'm upgrading today to the new firmware hopefully it helps.

Hey Brent, just a suggestion since i just downloaded some stuff from the Avid site.
Could you also put the checksum of the download onto the webpage, so everybody can check the downloaded camera firmware with a md5 checksum prior to installing it on the camera ?

thanks
Manuel
