I'm lookin for a pre 70s VW bus. Have always wanted to mod one up hippie style. I had an old school bus once and miss it.

I threw a rod through the oil pan and got 30 bucks for scrap metal for it but I wish I had kept that door. Would look awesome hangin' on a wall in the studio today.

Slightly off topic - but you car freaks might be able to help me.

I saw an awesome looking SUV the other day. There was absolutely no brand name anywhere on the vehicle. It did have a bird like emblem on the hood - but no name. It looked a little bit like this;

...but it wasn't a Lexus. The bird like emblem was on the hood.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the hi-jack...

My '03 MCS, holds a ton of equipment (the roll cage gives them something to get strapped to), and is a blast to drive. Dinan tuned and Alta modded.

My son and my ride

My son and my ride

Home made, most of the images are from earlier builds. Current build is capable of dumping sustained 500 amps and 600 amps for 10 seconds. It is very fast and huge torque. The etek motor is rated to 72 volts and unbeknownst to my son I have it running at 42 volts and half throttle pot. Still scary fast.
