Possible to De-click Canon FD breech lock?

Just curious if the breech lock ssc FD's can be de-clicked? I have several FD lenses, 2 of which are breech lock (the 55mm 1.2 and the 28mm f2). I recently sent them to a repair shop to have the elements cleaned and the focus ring oiled on one. He said he would de-click them for free but apparently he said the spring tension was causing the aperture to close or open. Any one have any input? Thanks in advance.

He is correct the detents in the FD iris ring prevent the iris from creeping . I thought Duclos was offering that service so maybe try them...
