Hey all,

I'm looking for a good portable kit that I could use to reduce audio problems in less-than-ideal locations. Basically I'd want a sound blanket I could throw up on a wall if I was getting reverb, and maybe some sound insulation material I could stick over a vent or the cracks in a door if there was a nasty hum. Wondering if you guys can recommend any specific brands or products. I was looking at the Audimute products, but I feel like the price might be too good to be true.

Thanks in advance,
Sam Eilertsen

Since no one else chimed up I will. I looked at your link and the stuff looks pretty spendy to me. Get some furniture pads and some carpet and see how far that goes towards taking care of your problem.

20x20 blacks can do wonders, ask the grips to order an extra for ya, they do more than sound blankets... i've also used the Scandia bricks from this place http://www.primacoustic.com/pfoam.htm that I had left over from a studio design... they stuff into vent holes and under doors nicely.
