Do you need an adaptor to mount a lightweight 15mm 60mm center-to-center device on 19mm 100-4mm center-to-center rods? This is a common item and we have them available for sale. We also have them to adapt lightweight to 15mm 100mm center-to-center rods.

Thanks Brian, So I take it this new gear allows the redrock FF to make contact with the RED 18-50mm focus ring? If this is the case then can I get one now??? Thanks!

Hi Haskell

I haven't had a chance to use the 18-50mm lens, but if the redrock microFF needs to be a little closer to the lens gear, or if the microFF gearbox was bumping into something, then yes it will do the trick.

Drive gears should be available for purchase in limited quantities at Cinegear (plan on bringing some for anyone who wants to pick them up).

Unfortunately I can not make it to cinegear as I am in NYC, I would need this solution before June 20th. Thanks for the input and yes, the gear box bumps into the RED 18-50mm hood on the front the lens so a larger gear would fix this for sure.
