Following off of another thread, I was curious as to which Scarlet's everyone is waiting for. Which of these cameras are you planning to buy when they are.

Obviously these are not being released at the same time. Also, if you are NOT going to buy any Scarlet but instead are just getting the Epic, I put an option on there for that too. (Meaning, if you are getting a Scarlet too, vote for the Scarlet instead that you are planning to buy first).

Quite frankly, I'll probably order the first one that is available.
 
Yeah, I struggled with that option. I cannot change it anyways. For me, I want both the S35 and the fixed, but I can afford only the fixed first. Plan is to make a bunch of income off the fixed and then apply that towards the S35 and a Canon mount.
 
You are missing a category...

I'm currently an Epic-X stage II reservation holder, so the answer of which camera I'll get first is Epic.

But...

I'm still doing a TON of work on my HVX200 for corporate web deliverables. I very much look forward to replacing my aging HVX with a Fixed Scarlet to move entirely into Red centric work-flows, and continue to offer clients tiered cost options. So, I used the multiple choice option of Epic and Fixed. It will be awesome to use modules between both camera systems, keeping my overhead for accessories low.
 
Haha, no, I didn't miss you, I wanted you to just select Fixed. I was curious which Epic owners were NOT planning on getting a Scarlet at all.

Was there another actual poll of this sort of information? If so, please point me to it. There was a thread, but I really didn't feel like going through EVERY post and try to determine what people wanted.

Yeah, I didn't take into consideration multiple cameras, the poll features are not that advanced! :P
 
I have to say, the numbers really follow what I expected. Thanks everyone who participated. While this is a SMALL sample set I am sure, and some people are going to buy multiple cameras of the same thing (like Fixed), it makes total sense.
 
Sorry answered on the wrong thread.
2 Fixed Bundles and a tricked out 2/3'rds cinema.
But more than willing to wait as long as needed.
As are the couple of clients that have decided to go wit the Scarlet over an Epic (Mostly non profits)

... well that's where my Scarlet savings just went...
i'll probably be interested/able to buy one when it comes out.
