Hello,
I just introduced the PocketLED mini projector with very high color rendering that I designed and manufactured.
On several shootings I often had to light small areas of scenery or small objects and no projector suited so I wanted to develop this object to have it always with either.
My design goals were both to have an extremely small product and with the best CRI possible what I managed to do. In addition to that I added a flickerFree dimmer and effects modes.
The components are deliberately flush to minimize the thickness.

All your remarks could interest me :)

thank you for your messages :)

GENIUS. IMO. Could it hold charge longer?

At full power you have 1:30 of autonomy, at minimum power 8:30!
The battery is deliberately small and with little battery life to save space! Look at this picture as the product is small :

This looks neat. My only suggestion would be a thread somewhere to mount it. Price?

Again, I have not done any screw for reasons of space saving and weight, the PocketLED is only 35g (0.077162 lb) you can fix it with double-sided tape, tape or Sticky Stuff or even just put it down. But your idea is interesting I can imagine an accessory to fix it to a 1/4 screw...

It is not approved, I sell it 25 euros to friends. I only made 15 copies : smiley:

Very cool. I like it!

I would not call it a projector, though. ;-)

Patrick has a good suggestion: a clip-on diffuser.

I think you could expand this idea. How about making this a modular system? You can, for example, connect two or more units to make a bigger one. You could connect them on the short edge or the long edge.

I wish I was good with electronics. :-)

Looks really neat.

I think you need to look at that market as well - it's very crowded at the moment and see how you can position it to be different!

I've just got a AtomCube and the LumeCube panel - both very good lights (although bigger than yours so not really a comparison)

cheers
Paul
