PM's...

[Jannard]

I thought my Private Message option was disabled... and I just looked up to see a whole bunch of them sitting there. Oops...

I don't do PM's. So if you sent one and I didn't respond, I'm sorry... I just haven't been looking. I mean no disrespect but I won't open them or respond. Please post or contact me some other way.

Jim

Hi Jim,

We've just finished an amazing App that is in many ways as revolutionary as the EPIC-M I recently purchased from your company. Our app is certainly in your field of expertise and I promise that you would install it on your iPhone and use it all the time. It's patent-pending and there's never been anything like it. Would you consider helping me bring it to market properly for a percentage?

Sincerely,

-michael zaletel

Hi Jim.

Just want to show you that:

Thanks for this amazing camera!

More "geeky" stuff from Berlin coming up pretty soon!

Best.
Christian.

[Carlos Florez]

Hi Jim, yes I sent you one before and never heard from you. I can see why in this thread.

[Jesper Sichlau]

Smoke signals it is... (cigar smoke of course)

[Brad Webb]

Aww man, I sent you all these great opportunities to inherit this massive fortune from my Nigerian cousins.

[Jannard]

I've also closed my Facebook account...

Jim

Security reasons or philosophical reasons? I've been on the verge of closing mine for a while.

That sucks, but I guess that Facebook doesn't allow you to disable accepting messages really sucks, was fun to have you on there.

[Elsie N]

I've also closed my Facebook account...

I'm reviving an old computer for the sole purpose of accessing my bank accounts online. No email, no other websites, no nothin'.

It's a jungle out here on the web.

My only friend on facebook... now I have none : (

Steve and I both knew it was only a matter of time...

Curious too - and agree with Elsie, there is some weird online privacy stuff going on now ...

Given the number of faux-Jim Jannards on Facebook like this guy here, it's not surprising. I honestly never really used Facebook at all. I myself made an account but never did anything with it except add a few friends who can reach me other ways.

[Chuck Z]

So... do you have a work email we can use?

And cell???

Jim,

Hmm, I sent one the other day, I was wondering where you have been. I hadn't had a reply to the few I sent over the previous years.

Have a look at this Jim, I do my own technology design and this technology is not as limited as it might seem:

www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.ph...feature-in-upcoming-camera-what-about-for-Red

My own version was a compromise for functionality, more aimed at low end professional. You will find some intriguing ideas that could enhance present camera features and workflow as hdr is doing. I usually keep these things under wraps indefinitely, but as the future is now close, and the brain damage is still holding me back from implementing it myself, I thought I would mention it.

Thanks

Wayne.
