Hey guys n gals... here's the story.
I own Gearbase Rentals in Vancouver. A few weeks ago someone asked me if I could give them a ballpark of what some camera equipment was worth, as they knew nothing about it. I said sure, bring it in. It turns out it's a Red Epic MX kit that belonged to a shooter named Jordan Droho who passed away and the family was selling his kit. I went through the camera and gave it a run through to let them know if it was in sellable condition. I told them they should post it here for a very good price and just blow it out to a new owner. In the end I figured I'd just post it for them and share contact info with any interested parties. I know the MX is out of demand so I'm assuming this would be for someone's 2nd or 3rd camera so I suggest a price that I thought would be a bargain to a new owner to give them a quick deal.
The sale and final dealings would be directly with Jordan's brother (I think via Paypal, but need to confirm).
The camera
- Red Epic MX in maybe A- condition (very good), some very small wear marks. Good enough that no one will complain. Fully functional though not a real guarantee.
Hours: ONLY 154.
- EF mount
- Side handle.
- 5" Touch LCD
- I believe it had a Swit Jetpack with V-Mount plate (need confirm the brand, but yes to V mount power)
- 4x Redvolt batteries (no charger that I found, I tested it with my own power, no guarantee on the battery condition, but given the low hours of the camera, I'd expect them to be solid)
- 3x 64gb redmags and redmag reader/dock
- I don't have the kit in front of me but I believe it had the AC cable (note to self, confirm and update)
Pics are coming up bit by bit, just posting this in between clients
