As more Red footage is captured and edited, I wanted to know what people are editing on and what experience they are having with their setups.

Workstation specs (PC/Apple, processors, memory, hard drives, external RAID arrays, etc), monitors (primary and output/client monitors), and software. Photos would be cool.

So what will you be editing Red footage on?

I'm waiting for Apple and intel "Penryn--coming out at the end of the year. We don't know the full details of its launch products yet, but we do know that among the new features, Intel plans to add an updated set of multimedia instructions, called SSE 4.0. Penryn also marks Intel's move to a new, 45-nanometer manufacturing process, which means lower operating temperature and, thus, room for faster clock speeds. "

Hopefully, Apple will be supporting Blu-Ray by then with their new OS.... but Im waiting to edit after my RED... probably November... or later.
