  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

please, please, please... 3k hdrx at 25fps. not only 24fps :-(

I'm also hoping for a 25fps 3K HDRx and 50fps 3K update. Seeing how 4K was upgraded from 25 to 30fps from the announcement specs, these framerate upgrades might even be realistic. And if not, maybe we could get 2.5K at 50fps, because that would at least give enough resolution for 2K or FullHD delivery.
 
In class this question came up...and the advice was to shoot in 23.978 and handle the conversion to post in 25 for better results. Racking my brain to remember the justification/reason, but that's what the RED instructors recommended for Europe..something about sound being easier to work in 23.978 as well...anybody remember the exact reason?
