  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Please Help: Reconnecting to R3D on Color

This may have already talked about it. Here is what i am trying. I import the red footage as a proxy from log and transfer on FCP 7. Once done editing export XML and open to Color. I am seeing everything but when i click the RED tab, there is no any value that means i am definitely not connected with R3D raw file. Am i doing something wrong. Please help.
 
Hey Omkar,

Your best bet is to use clipfinder to generate a new xml so you can link to the origina r3d's. you'll also want to fix the "looping bug" in clipfinder once you've rendered out new ProRes files to reconnect back in fcp.

I hope you are using files from the R1. No support for Epic or Scarlet in Color, and there'll probably never be.
