I'm prepping for a night shot, so I need a lens that has a low T-stop but still somewhat sharp. (Best of both worlds?)

Any recommendation on your own experience on a lens that you would use in low light situation? Anamorphic lenses also welcome.

Please help.

1) Zeiss Otus and 2) Sigma Art are known to resolve the most detail wide open.

Seconded what Akin said for Otus or Sigma Art depending on budget. But budget-wise what are you looking at? Sometimes depending on the style, money is better spent on lighting to make it seem darker than it actually is by adding contrast. I prefer to use heavy hard back lights when lighting for night, the back-lights should really be your primary light while adding a little bit of fill to taste on the front of the talent.
