Please allow more then 50 total Private Messages on Reduser .

Hi Reduser Admins,

Please consider raising the total limit of private messages on the Reduser forums.

Perhaps after a certain duration as a member, perhaps after a year, the limit could be raise to 250 total messages?

Seriously, it's a pain in the butt constantly deleting messages and/or missing messages because the 50 total message limit has been reached.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Part of that 50 get's taken up by the amount of PM's sent/stored too. Sometimes if selling something, there are multiple offers for multiple products. It does fill up quickly.

On a different note, someone once made the suggestion of limiting those that sell things to have a minimum of 50 thread postings (not PM's) before being allowed to sell stuff. I know this is not related to the thread but perhaps you would consider that too (to prevent the fraud of some low posting members that just sign up to sell...and in some cases quickly disappear and leave buyers sending money with no product shipped). "For Sale" postings would get eliminated until they reach or show a certain amount of activity. I know this won't eliminate fraud but might deter a few.

Just a thought.

what do you guys mean, nested messages as in replies to a certain message or 50 in total ?

Because when I go to my inbox I see the message "Inbox contains 15 messages. You have 85 messages stored, of a total 800 allowed. (Empty Folder)"

800 allowed ?!? am I interpreting this wrong ?

Inbox contains 377 messages. You have 412 messages stored, of a total 800 allowed
i delete sentbox once in a month..800 is not much..it should be above 1000

If that was the case, mine should have upped a while ago (a year back - LOL).

I think it's related to join date... all the over 50's seem to be 2009 or before.

Yea I get 800 as well, and finally I have been keeping it cleaned regularly and deleted PM's as old as 07...
