  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

PLAYBACK

Just to give everyone a heads up.

I thought I had something go wrong during the upgrade process. The camera would not power up after step 8.

After several minutes of panic, I tried unplugging the monitor. I hit the power button and everything seems to be working fine now. The camera powered up and the monitor is giving me an image and playback. All seems to be good.

Hopefully I can save someone else some panic if this happens to them.

playback...now we're cooking.

i've already tried to scrub that little playback timeline about a dozen times without thinking. it's just begging red to enable full playback touch scubbing...and so am i!

great update. can't wait for more to come!!!

You can scrub by dragging below the timeline (over the video).

Glad you guys like...

I thought i read a spec not too long ago for 3k at 200fps?

200fps would be great! I actually haven't upgraded in a while since my cameras have been working rock-solid, non-stop. Sometimes I don't upgrade unless there are major new features. I usually check the release notes though for each new firmware, but maybe I missed it.

It is finally here... it was a lot more difficult than we had imagined.

If you look at the power and capability of EPIC compared to the "others" you will realize that there are a lot more options (times a million) than what they do. This complexity wreaks havoc on the firmware guys. They did an excellent job to get all this done.

Always late... but worth the wait.

Jim
