playback without touchscreen via redmote

Hello,

I'm needing to fly the epic without an lcd or evf.
So far I can control everything i need to from the redmote except going into playback mode.
It would be nice if one of the soft menue buttons could lead to a display layout designed for playback functions.


I'm monitoring off the brian hd-sdi.

Any advice?

I map the the Motion/Stills slider for this duty. Slide to Motion activates Playback. Slide to still plays clip. You then can use the arrow buttons to navigate the other controls on screen. just hit record to go back to preview.

Makes a quick and easy "review last clip" type function.

I also map it this the same way for my side handle.

you can access the second menu screen with the redmote and then enter the playback mode.

You can map playback controls onto the REDmote buttons. I often set up buttons to toggle playback mode, navigate clips, and play the clips. All of the playback functions are assignable to any user button you wish to use, on the REDmote and otherwise.
