  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi all,

sorry for my english.
My second R1 the #6120 have a big problem with playback on camera. When I try to playback some shoot clip especially when the shooting was in high speed the camera one time every three attempts shutting down... I'm on Build 17.
Another "funny" is that the led warning the high temperature is NEVER on, even when I can do a barbecue on the camera...

Any Idea/suggestion?

We have been having a similar issue on set, Andrea; also with Build 17.

When playback is brought up, the camera will stutter a few frames then both the EVF and LCF will go to solid green, citing some audio error as the culprit. We then have to restart.

Anyone have any experience with problems like this? I assume it's coming from the REDdrive side rather than the camera...

This is a known issue, solution is to upgrade to Build 20 Version 20.1.2
 
Grr... I knew that was going to be the answer, but our production refuses to upgrade the firmware.
