PLAYBACK FULL DEBAYER ?

[nicolas de chateau thierry]

hello

The new alpha firmware are here now ...
So, when you use the playback, the image over the SDi (or HDMI) is HD and FULL debayer ? and i can record it ?

Red has stated on this forum that the live HDSDI out on epic is a full debayer... I doubt, but obviously don't know, if they would drop in quality with file playback.

Maybe record it live then record it played back... and apply a difference matte between the two and you would get both questions answered?

Or are you asking about other data being passed TC etc?

No, it's a full debayer.

Live output is full debayer.
Playback is currently not full at the moment but will be updated to be full later.
