No sorry:
Teleconverter is new, best build, stronger, and best image quality than optex.
1100.- euro is a cheap price.
Some spanish rental houses uses it, and his DOP customers do not want use optex TC ever more after test this teleconverter.
This is a bargain price for this quality lens TC.
With this TC you can cover Full frame including 5k and 6k.

This will give any PL lens 2x the zoom?

Sorry, but I dont understand what you are asking exactly.
Can you be more precise on your question?

Dear Aexandar:
I do not tested your Zoom on my teleconverter. It work's well with aluras and zeiss compact zoom, nikon 80-200, etc.
Optically it will workos perfectly and will give you a very sharp image (shure no vigneting).
I checked some photos of rear PL mount of RED 18-85, I can say 99 % you can put it, but to be shure 100% I need to know if the rear glass sirface of zoom is not deeper than 16mm from the pl lens ears (distance between pl lens ears to the end of rear black mate conus of the lens and subtract the deeper distance between the rear mate conus and the glass lens element if it is les than 16mm then you can put the zoom and it will work amazing with it)
All the best.

Hi jake:
2 stop loss like all 2xTC, is a phisical question, 4 times surface projection image with the same light is 2 stops lossing.
This teleconverter covers new 6k Dragon sensor with out vigneting from your S35 lenses.

Yes it can fit on a nikon 200 T2 if it is on PL mount, and it will work great with this lens that is super sharp.

Thanks Manuel. I'm consider a few options, diopters and these. Wonder if I can use a diopter and the 2x to get 4x zoom.

Why you need a 4x? for extra tele or for extra macro?
Yes, With a 2xdiopter and the 2xTC you will obtain a 4x image.
Other option is to use two 2x teleconverters one rear the other, you will get a 4x image, but you will loose 4 stops.
I can offer you a second one, and if you are really interested make a image proof to you with 2xTC + 2xTC.
All the best Manuel.
