  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey guys

I have a new Scarlet-W DSMC2 and we are shooting 3 cameras on this upcoming show, the other 2 are DSMC1 Epics. I currently only have EF mount with mine and we are shooting PL glass, one of the other owners has an extra Ti PL mount but is worried of firmware being updated on the mount when it mounts to a DSMC2 camera rendering it unable to work with DSMC1 Epic.

Is there an issue swapping mounts between DSMC1 and DSMC2 cameras? Or will there be no issue doing this and his worries can be negated.
 
Don't take this as gospel, but you should be fine. Firmware upgrades and downgrades on the mounts if necessary, I think you will be fine as I have swapped back and forth many times.
 
I've had no issues using the same Ti PL and EF mounts on my Weapons and on my Scarlet MX. You'll be totally fine.
