PL Lens future ?

[Dave Blackham]

So with the new standard of 'intelligent' (don't know what else to call them) motion picture lenses and possible lens control systems, which we have only had a glimpse of so far, plus better integration of Canon and Nikon glass, Also the issues of some lenses not covering S35. Whats going to happen to the price of existing PL glass ?

[Evin Grant]

It will continue as is or possibly go up as more PL mount cameras enter the market (Epic & Arri). The "Smart" lenses will fill a niche but at least the Canon and Nikon mounts are not robust enough for pro cinema.
