Building anything on 'Green Belt' land in the UK is always a contentious issue and i can see why the vote was so close. Still, it's not good for Pinewood or UK film as a whole. I think back to RED when Jim bought prime real estate in Las Vegas, but nothing happened and it's now about Red Studios Hollywood. It's not easy to start somewhere new and Pinewood need to expand somewhere.....

When they move to Atlanta they will soon learn that they will need to employ a machete wielding army to keep the kudzu at bay... but that should be no problem, the Brits have plenty of experience employing machete wielding armies.

The Mega Stage is only 45,000 square feet - not big enough… And they've never finished the "Back Lot Street Plan" that is in the works.
