I've started a new photography project a few days ago! I've always wanted to do something like this for a very long time and just now found the opportunity to pursue it.

I'll be taking a photo a day for 365 days, and update my blog daily with the new photo. The point is to challenge myself into inspiration everyday and expand my photography by using available resources to create consistently good quality, interesting photos. It's quite a challenge so far!

If interested, check it out, let me know what you think of the photography. I'm on day 6 right now!

Great project and I wish you the best of luck with it. I once did a project that was pretty much the same. Challenging myself to only take one picture each day, sometimes I would find that picture in a matter of minutes other times I would struggle with finding that one shot all day long. I think it goes along way to help you understand the power of a single image. Thanks for sharing I will make sure to check it out periodically to see how you progress.
Happy Shooting

Tried that a couple of times too and failed.
My girlfriend tried it too, and is having a weekly photo on flicr.

It is very hard, and needs discipline, and I totally agree, that it is a wonderful exercise. Best wishes.

p.s.
Isn't wordpress just awesome?

Patrick,
all of us who started and not finished need inspiration.

Thanks for the link! His photography makes me want to step mine up a notch! Biggest problem right now is my lack of proper lighting equipment :ack2: I have no external flashes or lights to help.

Sincerely considering purchasing at least two flashes. Any suggestions? I need something easy and efficient in the field which can also be used in full versatility in the studio (i.e. softbox and umbrella modifications are a big plus). Suggestions as to where to purchase for best pricing would also be appreciated! Looking at getting everything for under $500 (including pocketwizards or other remote flash devices, p.s., totally a novice when it comes to flash equipment. Come from cinema background, not flash photography for digital!)

Just updated the site with days 7, 8, 9, and 10.
