I had an opportunity to film a short set in 1784. Using the Dragon we filmed on old Canon FD (cinevised) glass. I also used a 1/2 BPM to add a bit more softness and spread the light. The attached photos have differing grades that I was messing with. I don't know what the final grade will look like as I'm not sitting in with the colorist (wish I could get paid for that!).

This was made for a private organization and will be distributed within their membership. I don't know if it will have wider distribution. Would be nice! Here's a grab from the battle scene.

Love the battle scene image....very, nice!

Ken,
As always, stellar stuff. Love that battle image. I know you said off the top that you were experimenting with various grades. Can you give some more information about what you did with the Battle scene?

Great stuff Ken. Did you add grain or was that the total effect of lenses, filter and iso ? I really like the interior scenes too. Really well lit.
