Pentax K Lenses - The Lenses That Shall Not Be Named?

Hi, everybody, I had a thought today as I looked over some of my lens finds in the past year and I really dig the tiny Pentax K 50mm 1.4 and the Pentax FA 50mm 2.8 Macro I got for a steal and I wondered, other than a short film on one of the first Pentax K cameras with 720P HD video, I haven't really heard much about people using Pentax K lenses. What's the deal? Are these not as popular or just not well spoken about? If anybody does use them, are there any particular ones to look out for to add to the kit? Any to avoid? How do they do on RED cameras? Again, what's the deal?
