I purchased the Storm iM2500 case (almost identical to the Pelican 1510), and have to say that pluck-n-pull foam sucks.

Has anyone found other foam to throw into the case that will work just as well? If so, have a link?

Thanks!!

Not quite foam, but this stuff is awesome. Using it on a couple of cases already and plan on adding more. Great product.

That looks awesome - do you find your gear shifts around much, though? I like to keep my Scarlet more or less prepped with the side handle and plates on already which, of course, gives it kind of a funny shape to try and stick in blocked off sections like the TrekPak shows.

Not at all. Everything is very tight and secure (that's how I pack in mind). It's not as padded as foam would be because the material is more rigid, but it's perfect for carrying. I wouldn't trust some components to shipping like this -- but personal hauling it's great.

What kind of solid foam is used in the RED pelican case?
