Hey Redusers!

So im sitting here thinking what the heck im going to do about storage and shipping solutions for my RED One MX, What i have in mind is a Big Pelican case for storing everything and long hauls, and a smaller one for more run and gun scenarios or just a light hike "as light as carrying a Red One will ever be :P"

But im sitting here googling and drooling over these Precut drop in foam pieces. Does anyone have any reccomendations as to how, where, and when to obtain these. I would like to design the storage cutouts myself for most efficient use for my setup. But im still lacking a CNC Router/Cutter so im left to outsource this part.

Feel free to share opinions, experiences and tips/tricks

Lets make this the "Big storage thread" where we can discuss various forms of transportation of cameras, long term storage and just neat solutions all together!

Pelican makes pick-n-pluck foam for most of their cases. They also make TrekPak dividers. B&H also sells something they call "A-MoDe Limited Divider Set".

I've made my own dividers several times to get a custom fit but I have shears/sheet metal brake and aluminum welding capability. If you can find a purchasable solution that works for you you will save a lot of time and effort by avoiding a custom solution.

I tried to add a photo of my in-truck case but I couldn't get it to attach.

Also if anyone interested i bought some molle panels for 1510 from this website ( cheapest i could find )

Found a foam store in my city and raided their cut-offs ;)

Pelicans are awesome for misc formats.

Ill post a few I've created tonight.
