Peeping Tom

[Sabyasachi Patra]

I came across this clip where Scorsese talks about the Michael Powerll's film "Peeping Tom". Whatever little I saw in the clip has me intrigued. One may get the feeling of being hunted. The film was so powerful that not only it went off the screen in UK but the director never directed again. Scorsese helped release it in US and rereleased in 2010 on its 50th anniversary. ...Films can be so influential... Has anyone seen this film? How did they move the camera through the streets? http://youtu.be/DwwvRK1-MFg

I will have to find a full movie to watch.

Yes - when he co-directed with Emeric Pressburger, the results were often amazing (and ahead of their time).

Some of my my favorite movies in fact, such as Black Narcissus, Life & Death of Colonel Blimp the Red Shoes and A Matter of Life and Death, to name but a few.
