Hi everyone,

Has anyone used the Peak Design bags to carry their RED setups?

What is everyone using?
Standard issue Pelican 1510 with some foam?

I own one of their shoulder messenger bags, but it's for photo gear. The strap, as people noted on reviews, tends to slip from wherever you adjust it to length-wise after a while.

The other bags look good, but I use Tenba rolling and their backpack versions and they've been awesone.

I use a Pelican Air 1535 with TrekPak dividers for camera package and batteries. I use the Peak Design Everyday Backpack for small lens kit, laptop, and other odds and ends. Its an amazing combo. Just finished a few out of town jobs with them and they handled the airport perfectly. Can't say enough good things about these two pieces of gear.

Do you have the 20l or 30l? How much can you fit in there?

I’ll have to look into Trekpak...much cheaper than Jasoncases

F-Stop->Tilopa (backpack) - carry a DMSC-2 body, 3-4 lenses (depends on the selects for the day) and 2-3 batteries, plus s a few misc accessories (filers, hoods, rain cover, etc)

I’m using the 20L because I wanted to be certain that it would count as a personal item (was worried the 30L might be turned away).

I use my personal “run and gun” lenses in that bag (not cine lenses). It fits:

Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II
Canon 11-24mm f/4L
Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro
Canon 35mm f/1.4L II
Lots of lens cleaning tools
MacBook Pro 15” (with Touchbar)
2 hard drives and a ton of other random little accessories and cables

Jason Cases are just not versatile enough for me, price aside. They also don’t always use the space effectively IMO.
