Hi all,
I have a piece of product news that may be of interest for the RED community. I hope that such announcements are OK.
I work for CHAOS GROUP - the company is particularly popular with its product V-Ray. I will not go into more details about our company who wants can make a tour of our website :).
The main idea to write to you is that one of our products - sequence player called Pdplayer now supports also R3D file formats and uses the latest version of the RED SDK (2.3) with the new color science.
I would be curious to know are you interested in this and also to hear back any feedback.:smile5:
For those who are interested- PDPLAYER is Windows-only (for now) and you can test it with a trial version on www.pdplayer.com

@N_Villers: PDPlayer is really a nice tool! However I see it more as a player and not a conform tool. At least from what their website says. There is this other new tool that seems to be able to conform from EDLs and FCPs, called MIST: http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37548. I'm waiting for my demo license next week and will definitely post a review about this here.

Any plans to integrate import from EDL, filmscribe xml or fcp xml for conforming to original r3d?

We can look into it. Can you please go into some more detail regarding the workflow? You want to cut the proxies in FCP, for example, and then look at the result in Pdplayer using the R3D files?
