  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Parker, Irvine

*sigh* I hope that someday we'll see a 2/3"/EFP cam assembly line.

I have said it before and ill say it again! I cant stress Enough how Jarred always manages to keep us happy with some great Footage/Images!! Thank you! you ARE D Man!

Production is ramping up dramatically. We hate being in perennial back order. We are going to change that part of our business. Watch.

Jim

Is it the pl and canon mounts still a bottleneck?

Love the jigs and fixtures in those last shots Jarred - very nice. The cameras are pretty awesome too.

one of many. Our prototype machinist makes all the jigs in the machine shop right there and I try to steal them every time I see them come off the machines because they are so badass.. They are works of art by themselves :)

Jim gets credit for this one... he was smart enough to remember his camera yesterday :)

Thanks for sharing the pictures with us! Now all we need is a timelapse of production ;)

(where's Tom Lowe when you need him??)

Jarred, forgive me if this has been covered before, but I think it's on topic... where are the boards and sensors manufactured? Is everything done in the US? Thanks again for posting, and thanks Jim for the photos... really amazing to see inside your world! I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving.

This might just be my favorite Reduser thread... ever.

All the boards are manufactured in CA.

That prototype machinist is great - just another "A" lister on a Red Team full of them. Hang on to him/her - that is real nice work on those pieces.

Fantastic! Love seeing the guts - saves me from having to void a warranty out of curiosity ;)

I know you guys hate backorders as much as we all hate you being in backorder. Loving the changes that RED are making. Can you tell us how many lines you have working in Irvine - form the image on the first page, looks like there are 3 lines? Are they each dedicated to either EPIC or Scarlet or is it a mix as the cameras move through the line?

Thanks again guys for the generous look behind the scenes...

:))
