Normally For run n gun or studio I place a speed rail to the SSD side of the camera and place the tomahawk....or for gimbal I go with a rail up top or below depending on the gimbal.

How do you attach the tomahawk tx on dsmc2?

Thanks in advance.

The original Tomahawk is designed with two 1/4"-20 holes on the "face" so that you can bolt on a medium length NATO rail.

That NATO rail can now allow the Tomahawk to be attached to the assistant side (camera right) if you have a NATO clamp like this:

You can snug this to the body instead of to the transmitter.

You can also invert the concept and do it the other way if you want but the rail on Tomahawk is slick because no twist and the ports will be pointing to the rear of the camera where power and SDI naturally go.

Anything that is toolless and adjustable on set has always been my preference and always will be ;)

Dan thanks for your input. I know it seems like a dumb question, especially since I have a system that works...but it never hurts to try and glean some gems from others. THANK YOU!
