Deal All,

Since Bolt 500 is a relatively new product, I couldn't find a 'This Vs That' details especially Vs Arrow-X. What's fundamental difference between these two other than the range & the fact that Arrow-X receiver doesn't offer both SDI & HDMI?

Which one would you prefer to get & why?

Thanks.

Hey Manoj,

The Arrow-X is a second generation system so while you are getting a bit more range out of the system than a Bolt 500, you're also on older firmware and a larger chassis. However, you do get external antennas, which allows you to operate with a panel antenna. This is a really nice option to have if you plan on regularly transmitting at full range.

The Bolt 500 is a 3rd generation system with the latest firmware and FPGA from Teradek. Its compatible with Sidekick 2, has a built in cross-converter on the TX, and is smaller/lighter than an Arrow X. You're also getting a couple more 40MHz channels to operate over compared to either of the Paralinx or Teradek 2nd generation systems.
